Beef and Broccoli in Black Bean Garlic Sauce

I’ve seen dishes with black bean sauce on plenty of Chinese menus, but haven’t cooked with it before at home. I wasn’t sure what to expect and initially was worried that it might be too spicy for my kids.

I needn’t have worried, the sauce is savory with just a hint of sweetness, it is delicious, and my kids love it.

  1. Oh I so need to try this. I have been wanting to add sir fries to our weekly menu but I’ve not had much success with the sauces. Usually they are too sweet for my hubby and my son is just starting to appreciate Chinese food. I’m trying this for sure. I’ve not tried the black bean sauce yet. Can’t wait to try it.
