What’d You Do This Weekend? #9

Hi everyone, welcome to What’d You Do This Weekend? I hope everyone had a great weekend and is enjoying the beginning of spring! Here in the Boston area, on Friday, the official first day of spring, guess what happened? It snowed!

Of course, it snowed, because this is New England in March, anything can happen. Anyway, I had a lot of fun visiting everyone last week and reading all of your wonderful posts and seeing your magnificent creations!

Side Yard Makeover from The Lodge on Haydon

week9- side yard makeoverThis is such a wonderful transformation! I am so ready for spring weather and to get outside and do projects in the yard! But, since we still have a few feet of snow on the ground here, I was delighted to read Michaela’s post, see the step by step process she went through to transform her side yard and live vicariously through her. It’s great project, so be sure to check it out!

In Connecticut, we also got hit with a snow storm on Friday! Luckily, most of it has or is in the process of disappearing. I’m so ready for running outside, grilling chicken on an actual grill, and sipping cocktails on my porch. I’m obsessed with Gulab Jamun. I dated an Indian guy for almost two years and he had me try so many different desserts; this by far was my favorite.

Thanks so much for joining the party Gina! You should definitely try Gulab Jamon if you have the chance, it is a delicious dessert! Chicken Tikka Masala is one of my favorite main dishes to order, I highly recommend it and now may have to make it soon at home as I just started having a craving for it, yum. 🙂
