Thank you to Botanica Science for sponsoring this post, all opinions are 100% my own.
I absolutely love tea, all types and varieties, both hot and iced teas. I drink hot tea year round and iced tea is one of my favorite summertime drinks.
I especially love teas that provide health and wellness benefits, as is the case with Botanica Science’s 14 Day Skinnytox – Organic Detox Teas. The 14 day supply consists of a morning energy green tea and an evening herbal detox tea, each comes in it’s own tea tin, made from recyclable materials and the tins are 100% reusable.
These Skinnytox Organic Detox Teas smell absolutely amazing and you can see all of the wonderful ingredients – a blend of fruits, herbs and tea – in the tea sachets (tea bags) which are made with toxic-free/chemical-free materials.
The blend of ingredients is intended to provide you with many health benefits and help reduce bloating, lose water weight, boost your energy, detox your colon and support your metabolism.
The early morning is one of my favorite times of the day, I like to get up before everyone else in my house and enjoy some quiet me time. The Skinnytox Organic Energy Berry Morning Tea Blend is the perfect accompaniment to my peaceful solitude. This energizing green tea smells so good and and contains so many healthful ingredients — including sencha, ginseng, gotu kola, rosehips, orange peel, currants and elderberries — that are intended to help improve memory, boost immunity, aid in digestion and provide energy.
This delicious Organic Energy Berry Morning Tea Blend, with it’s light berry, citrus and floral notes, really gets me going in the morning and helps prepare me for when everyone else in the house wakes up, including my three young kids, and for the busy day ahead.
The Organic Herbal Detox – Night Tea Blend is a wonderful way to unwind and relax after a long day. This is a Rooibos tea, one of my favorites, it has a nice mild spice to it, and also smells wonderful and has many healthful ingredients — including hibiscus, rosehips, apple, senna leaf, orange peel, licorice root and lemon grass – that are intended to aid in digestion, support immunity and lower blood pressure.
This delicious Organic Herbal Detox – Night Tea Blend, which has apple and citrus along with some floral notes, is a wonderful way to help me relax in the evening. I then am able to fall asleep easier and in turn, wake up refreshed and recharged in the morning and ready for the new day.
We are in right in the middle of a beautiful, sunny and warm summer here in New England, and one of my favorite warm weather drinks is iced tea. I love making my own iced teas and adding different combinations of fruits and fresh herbs.
I thought that the Organic Energy Berry Morning Tea Blend would be wonderful iced, and that blackberries and mint would complement the flavors in this tea nicely, and that certainly is the case. The resulting Blackberry Mint Iced Green Tea is absolutely delicious and so refreshing.
I started by allowing the Organic Energy Berry Morning Tea Blend tea bags and some fresh mint to steep in boiling water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, I pureed fresh blackberries in a blender and strained the mixture to remove the seeds.
Once the tea and mint were done steeping, I discarded the tea bags and mint leaves, and combined the tea mixture with the blackberry mixture along with a little bit of honey. I allowed this mixture to cool down a bit, then served the tea over ice along with some more fresh mint, and garnished with some additional blackberries.
This Blackberry Mint Iced Green Tea is so delicious and refreshing, and is a wonderful drink for a warm summer day, plus it has all the health benefits of the Organic Energy Berry Morning Tea Blend.
