Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis – these pretty, purple-red hued martinis are perfect for Valentine’s Day, girls’ night, a cocktail party or a festive occasion anytime.
I love using pomegranate in beverages. I’ve recently shared my Pomegranate Champagne Cocktails and my Sparkling Pomegranate Punch. Both are so festive and have such a pretty color.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I wanted to share another pomegranate cocktail. This time I wanted to make a martini. I like the combination of lemon with pomegranate. So, I decided to include Limoncello, which is an Italian lemon liqueur and make Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis.
How to Make Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis
First, I rimmed the martini glasses for these Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis with pomegranate sugar. I used the same sugar and technique as I did for my Sparkling Pomegranate Punch.
I purchased my {affiliate link} pomegranate sugar at amazon.com. You can also find pomegranate sugar at many liquor or party stores.
To make the martinis, I filled a cocktail shaker with ice and added pomegranate juice, Limoncello and some vodka. I gave it a good shake and strained the mixture into my martini glasses. Finally, I garnished the glasses with a slice of lemon.
The resulting Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis have such a pretty purple-red color and a nice slightly sweet and tart flavor.
These delicious Pomegranate Limoncello Martinis would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. They would also be great for girl’s night or a cocktail party. These pretty, purple-red-hued cocktails would also be wonderful for a festive occasion anytime.
