Gorgonzola Dip – a delicious, creamy and tangy dip, that is so easy to make and perfect for your next party, get together or snack anytime.
I’ve mentioned, a number of times, my love of dips. Dips are perfect for parties and are great for snacking. I’ve shared many of my favorite dips including Kale and Artichoke Greek Yogurt Dip, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Roasted Eggplant Dip.
Today, I have a new favorite dip recipe to share that is perfect for spring, this delicious Gorgonzola Dip.
A couple of weeks ago, my neighbors hosted a potluck party and I planned to bring a dip. On the day of the party, the weather had turned a bit milder, so I decided to make a chilled dip. Also, that way, I could make the dip earlier in the day and just pull it out of the refrigerator in the evening, when it was time for the party.
Simple, Easy Preparation
I’d been wanting to make a dip using gorgonzola and since I had some in my refrigerator, I had my chance. I kept it simple and just mixed together some cream cheese and light sour cream and then mixed in the gorgonzola. Then, I stirred in some chopped green onions, transferred the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkled with some more chopped green onions.
The resulting Gorgonzola Dip was creamy, tangy and so flavorful. I served it with pretzels and cut up veggies. Potato chips and crackers would also be wonderful accompaniments to this delicious Gorgonzola Dip.
The flavorful Gorgonzola Dip is so easy to prepare and would be a great addition to your party or get together this spring or as a delicious snack anytime.
